The Shalom Club celebrated Chinese New Year 2024 at the Great Wall Cuisine with 50 members joining in the celebration with a delicious banquet of five main courses, soup, dessert, hot tea, and a special gift for each person. It was a fantastic way to start off our New Year also. Many thanks to Alan and Gloria Kornbluth for hosting this event each year.
Mark Frumkin, our social chair, has arranged varied activities for the next few months. We will be having a private State Farm Stadium tour, a visit to the Hall of Flame museum, and tickets to see Fiddler on the Roof at the Phoenix Theater.
We continue to have men’s and ladies luncheons as well as social hours in different restaurants in the West Valley. The board members work hard to have different activities to suit all our members.
