Excitement is in the air as our snowbirds return and the sewing studio comes alive once again! To restock the Expression Gallery with fresh creations, 16 enthusiastic members gathered on Oct. 1 to make beautiful and practical pot holders. These handcrafted pieces are now available in the Gallery and make perfect stocking stuffers or thoughtful hostess gifts for the upcoming holiday season.
On Oct. 15, our studio buzzed with creativity and color as Kathy Brown led a class on Dresden Sunburst table toppers. Using a variety of vibrant print fabrics, participants crafted stunning pieces they’ll be proud to showcase in their homes.
We have more wonderful classes ahead—join us and keep the momentum going!
Upcoming Class:
* Nov. 5—Hope Bags: Create sturdy, reusable totes from beautiful, heavyweight fabrics. These bags will be donated to residents of the New Life Center, where they’ll be used for shopping at Hope’s Closet as residents transition into safe, permanent housing.
If you would like to join us in November for this class or to learn more about the sewing club, please contact Kathy Brown at kjbrown374@gmail.com.
