Finding what you need when you need it is not always easy. SCOSIC (Senior Citizen One Stop Information Center)a new nonprofit organization coming soon to the Southwest Valley is committed to being your gateway to a full range of community education, services and resources to help seniors and their caregivers maintain independence, security and quality of life. The first program to become available this spring will be a lunch delivery program called Project Boost/Meals of Joy for homebound and/or disabled seniors. Imagine a tasty, nutritious well balanced meal being delivered right to your door.
When you call or visit SCOSIC, you will be able to obtain information on a variety of organizations, churches, health facilities, senior housing, golf courses and other service organizations and businesses available to residents who are age 60 plus. You will also be able to get referrals from our database of hundreds of prescreened contractors and other vendors.
