These ladies know how to shoot pool, talk trash, and have a very good time!
This billiards team may show up with pool cues in hand, but they also bring plenty of laughter, attitude, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting. They play to win, cheer when they sink a great shot, and are perfectly willing to blame the table, the cue, the lighting—or possibly happy hour—when they miss.
“Ladies only” billiards takes over the tables every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. It’s two hours of pool friendship, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs. Whether you’re a seasoned player or still trying to figure out which end of the cue to use, come join the fun.
And because we occasionally let the men join us, Wednesdays from noon to 2 p.m. are reserved for Mixed Scotch Doubles with the men’s team. That’s when things get especially interesting—a little teamwork, a little rivalry, and probably a little debate over whose shot caused the problem!
Of course, billiards is only part of the fun. These ladies firmly believe that win or lose, there should probably be a drink involved.
Between matches, you’ll find them laughing, teasing one another, sharing stories, and occasionally forgetting whose turn it is. The competition may be real, but the friendships—and the after-game celebrations—are even better.
So if you hear laughter coming from the billiards room, don’t worry. It’s probably just the ladies doing what they do best: Breaking balls, breaking rules, and having a blast! So grab your sticks and join us!
