The spirit of the season was alive and sparkling as the PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) ladies gathered for the Annual Red/Green Match Play Tournament—and what a day it turned out to be! Not only did our golfers light up the fairways with festive cheer, but they also opened their hearts in a big way. This year, the PCLGA delivered a record-breaking donation of $12,806 to the New Life Center, surpassing last year’s impressive total. The generosity of our members continues to make an extraordinary difference for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

From the very first tee, it was clear that the holiday fun had arrived in full force. Both teams showed up in brilliant, bold, and playful outfits—sparkling greens, glowing reds, jingling accessories, and plenty of whimsical flair. The creativity never disappoints, and this year’s ensembles were a festive feast for the eyes. Santa would’ve been proud!

After a sunny morning of spirited competition, players enjoyed a delicious lunch and dessert in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. And just when they thought the day couldn’t get any sweeter, they were surprised with a very special holiday treat—a live performance of “Par of Wonder.” This clever and heartwarming song, recrafted by Leslie Estelle and sung to the tune of We Three Kings, was the perfect musical nod to the Red/Green theme. The talented PC Singers—Patricia Ingalls, Becky Trimble, and Ken Hammer—filled the room with festive charm and left the crowd smiling ear to ear.

Of course, no PCLGA tournament is complete without some friendly on-course challenges, and this event did not disappoint. Congratulations to our Closest to the Pin winners:

* Hole 13: White Tee / 16+ Handicap, Sharma Fleming

Big applause as well for our Longest Drive winners on Hole 18:

With 540 total match play points up for grabs, the competition was tight and the teams came ready to battle. Under bright December skies, every putt and every drive mattered as players fought to earn bragging rights for their festive squad.

And the final tally…

Green Team: 277 points

Red Team: 263 points
