This class on primitive rug hooking consists of three sessions. It is scheduled to be held during the month of February. Topics that will be discussed include: The history of rug hooking and its evolution to the 21st century; description of materials and tools needed; and hands-on demonstration of hooking technique, including instruction on finishing.
The cost of the class is $40 which includes all materials (linen backing with drawn pattern, hook and cut wool). In addition there will be a $10 refundable fee for the use of the frame for the three sessions. The photo shows the completed project.
