Debbie Arsenault and Carole Schumacher
Twenty-seven people in 14 RVs caravanned from PebbleCreek to Lake Pleasant Regional Park for the final club trip of 2021. Debbie and Bill Arensault served as wagon masters for this four-day event. Each night, we enjoyed tasty potluck meals provided by members, with spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, and homemade pies highlighting the first evening; grilled burgers with all the fixings on the second evening; and the final evening was topped off with a chili bar. Food is always plentiful during the Rovin’ Pebbles rallies!
We traveled one day to Wickenburg, where members enjoyed exploring old town Wickenburg with a tour of The Desert Caballeros Western Museum, which was fun and educational. The entire town truly embodies the Old West. The group enjoyed an eclectic lunch menu at Rancho Bar 7, which has been in business since 1937.
One highlight of the trip was a three-hour pontoon boat ride on Lake Pleasant, with Dave Kaucheck serving as captain. Although the water level was a bit low, the water was beautiful, and we all enjoyed a warm November day in the sun!
It was a wonderful, relaxing trip, making it the perfect ending to a wonderful year of activities. The next caravan will be Jan. 21 through 24, 2022, at Quartzsite, Ariz. Contact Wagon Master Marian Hansen Kaucheck at 480-363-7138 for more details about this trip.
