PebbleCreek Gun Club member, Dan Borchers, captured the winning trophy in the Senior Division of the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association (ASRPA) 2018 Arizona Defense Match State Championship held at the Ben Avery Shooting facility. Dan shot a 563/600 for a 93.8 percent accuracy shot from 300, 200 and 100 yards. He came in ninth overall as well as capturing the top honor in the Senior Division.
The Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association, the official state organization of the National Rifle Association, has been promoting safe and responsible firearm ownership since 1909. The ASRPA offers a broad program of training, competition and legislative involvement.
