At a luncheon on Dec. 14, Vice President Vicki Streeter presented Sharon Kozak-Reichert of the Luke Air Force Base’s Comprehensive Support Council with 191 gift cards amounting to $6,185. The cards were donated by our members and other generous friends in support of Luke’s airmen and women.

These cards mean so much to the young service members who have families to support, especially during this inflationary time, where the cost of food and household goods have risen rapidly. According to Sharon, these cards are used throughout the year to help any service member who has needs he or she cannot afford or have unexpected expenses and hardships that may occur. She said that these gift cards are a Godsend when they are needed.

Knowing that our gifts are helping make life easier for our service members as they work to protect our country is truly a gift back to us as club members. We love having this card drive every year, especially during the Christmas season when the spirit of giving is centermost in our hearts.

We want to thank all our members and friends for their continued generosity. These gifts truly make a difference in the lives of those who serve at Luke Air Force Base!
