The PebbleCreek Republican Club held its April meeting and annual Spring Luncheon on Thursday, April 4, in the Chianti Room in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. Social time began at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon followed at noon.

A full house enjoyed mixing and mingling before the luncheon, which was a wonderful selection of tequila lime chicken, PC steak salad or vegetarian spinach artichoke crepes.

Following the business meeting led by President Bari Cavallo, we are delighted to have Kelli Ward as our speaker for the luncheon. She is the newly elected Republican Party of Arizona Chairman and will speak about her unifying vision for the party and her top four priorities as chairman: 1. Full activation of the grassroots; 2. Ensure election integrity; 3. Prepare for redistricting and make sure it’s done right; and 4. Maximize fundraising to win big in 2020.

This woman is dynamite and gave an especially comprehensive and inspiring message, covering all the aspects of the work her office is pursuing towards greater voter representation in Arizona and getting young voters involved.

The Men’s Breakfast Club met for a lively morning conversation of political events over breakfast and/or their first cup of coffee on Tuesday, March 12, in the Eagle’s Nest Dining Room. Many of their suggestions have and will be implemented by our Executive Committee. They also met Tuesday, April 16, at 8:30 a.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Dining Room.

Twenty PCRC Women met for the first time on Friday, March 15, at the home of Nancy Phipps. It was an informative and lively afternoon of conversation among “like-minded” women and the opportunity to “talk Republican.” They met again on Wednesday, April 17, at the home of Cristina Junge.

Our fall Lecture Series will begin on October 22 and run for five-weeks in the Palermo Room. Professor Nick Damask is our very popular lecturer. The classes cost $100 per person and are well worth it. You will be able to experience his lectures up close and in person. Professor Damas will also be our speaker in May. Contact Bari Cavallo for further information on the lecture series at [email protected].
