More than 80 members and guests attended the Thursday, September 4 Fall Kick-off meeting of the PebbleCreek Republican Club in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Following a 6:30 p.m. social time and the business meeting, the club welcomed the distinguished Senator Russell Pearce as speaker.
Senator Pearce, an Arizona native born into poverty, rose to become a decorated public servant known for his love of the Constitution and committed to parental rights, school choice, freedom from government intrusion, excellence in education and support of law enforcement. During his many years in the Legislature as Appropriations Chairman, he was responsible for a balanced budget, eliminating the worst structural deficit in Arizona’s history and has been a leader in the fight against illegal immigration.
The PCRC has an exciting lineup of upcoming programs. Thursday, October 2 the timely program will be United States Border Patrol 101 presented by Agents Cynthia Bahr and Andy Staples.
On Thursday, November 6 the annual Veterans Dinner will be held at Tuscany Falls Ballroom at 6:00 p.m. following a 5:30 p.m. social time. Guest speaker will be the popular and always entertaining Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
