The party was definitely a blast. Boots and Diamonds, the inaugural dance from the PebbleCreek Republican Club, was held Saturday, February 4 in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom and was a real foot-stomping, fun dancing event. Bari Cavallo, vice president, was chairperson for the party and worked on all the details from catering to decorations to entertainment.
Dress for the evening included a wide assortment of Western possibilities, from boots and ten-gallon hats to jeans, buckskin and flowing gowns. Hearty chicken and finger-licking good ribs topped the menu and the tables glowed with lighted ceramic cowboy boots, each different and crafted in the PebbleCreek Art Center. The boots sold out at the silent auction, with proceeds going to Luke Air Force Base charities and an A.S.U. Foundation.
Justin Wright’s popular High Octane Band played throughout the evening with something for everyone, from line dancing to the Texas Two Step to a slow, romantic change of pace. The bottom line was fun and everyone agreed this was a really fun party!
