Republican Club Has Great Start to the New Year

Greg Roeberg

Once again the Tuscany Falls ballroom was filled with more than 200 members and guests as we kicked off our first meeting of 2026. An award was presented to our outgoing Membership Chair, Camille Grabb, for 10 years of outstanding service and dedication to building our membership, which currently stands at 726 members! Upcoming young voice in the Conservative movement, Ocean Rasso, returned to speak and to present his hot off the press first book entitled Preserving Freedom. Many members had pre-ordered it and were delighted to get their autographed copy. Our next speaker was Karrin Taylor Robson, candidate for Arizona Governor. She outlined her platform for making Arizona strong again. Arizona plays a role in national security. Karrin’s priorities are the safety and security of Arizona, our economy, affordability of housing, cutting government regulations, creating a friendly business environment, election integrity, and educating our children. She noted that Arizona ranks 50th in education. We have some of the best schools but we are failing our children as 1 in 4 high school students are not graduating and many cannot read at the 3rd grade level. We must get back to basics.

Following Karrin was Greg Roeberg, candidate for State Attorney General. Greg has an incredible background having served as President Trump’s campaign attorney in 2024. Rather than focusing on filing continual lawsuits like our current attorney general, which costs our state millions of dollars, Greg will focus on defending the integrity of our elections and securing them so that all Arizonans will be confident that their legal votes are counted. He will also fearlessly back our police, cracking down on crime, and protecting our families so that our children can grow up in a safer and stronger Arizona free from the plague of human trafficking. Greg will enforce the law with zero apologies. Members had an opportunity to ask questions and to visit with candidates and with city council members who attended, both before and after the meeting. It was a great way to kick off the new year as we head into the 2026 election season with primaries in August.
