PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association (PCLGA) members enjoyed playing in this year’s Red and Green Reindeer Games tournament on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4, on both Tuscany Falls East and West courses.

All the ladies were in the holiday spirit and dressed in very creative red and green outfits. The two courses looked like they had been decorated for the holiday season with all the brightly dressed players scattered around the various holes.

Many thanks to the three co-chairs—Dasher (Andrea Dilger), Dancer (Sharon Hadley), and Prancer (Layne Sheridan)—for all of their hard work in putting on such a great tournament.

The game was a 2-person best ball match play (Red team vs Green team). After two fun-filled and competitive days, the Red team beat the Green team, 37 to 29 points.

An Italian buffet was served after the round on the second day in the Tuscany Ballroom, which was decorated in a very festive style. Red and green plus sparkling lights were everywhere.

During the luncheon, a representative from the New Life Center, Devin DeFendis, gave a brief presentation discussing the various services offered by the New Life Center plus a “feel good” story about one of the shelter’s former residents. PCLGA members expressed their huge generosity by donating $7,000 to the New Life Center! Thank you to all!

It was a great tournament, the Red team has bragging rights for the next year, and the members are already looking forward to the next Red and Green! Happy Holidays.
