25 members of the PebbleCreek Quilting Club stepped up to the challenge to create their own interpretation of a favorite song or piece of music. The 2015 quilt challenge was based on music.
Hearing music causes each of us to respond with emotions, bringing hopes, dreams, pleasure to the surface. “Music is the language of the soul.” Music touches us deeply like nothing else.
Members were asked to represent the song realistically or as an impression. Also each was asked to use some type of embellishment on their quilt. The results are fantastic and can be viewed in two display cases in the Creative Arts Center. We are very proud of the entries! Enjoy.
