The Oasis Pool ramada was transformed into a beautiful setting for high tea. Tables were decorated with handmade tablecloths, floral paper cups and plates, and beautiful centerpieces. Joel and Arlene Mounce, owners of Ribbons Tea House, provided a tea tasting. Joel provided information about the health benefits, caffeine content, brewing instructions for hot and cold teas, and answered questions. The program was followed by a potluck of tea sandwiches, scones, and delicious desserts. A “photo booth” was provided for members to take pictures in tea hats. What a great afternoon!
