Quacy Smith is running for Congress in Arizona Congressional District 9. CD9 was created by the mostly Republican State Legislature in 2020 and includes PebbleCreek. Our neighborhood was previously in CD6 and the change put us in one of the largest Congressional Districts in the country. Although expansive in size, the District is sparsely populated including, along with Goodyear, Yuma, Lake Havasu City, Parker, Kingman, and Surprise.

It is hard to imagine how one Representative can work for the people of this District who have some widely varying needs. However, if anyone can do it, Quacy Smith can! Quacy spoke to the PebbleCreek (PC) Democratic Club at their October meeting and brought the audience to their feet with a standing ovation. He is an inspiring and sincere speaker.

The Eagles Nest Ballroom was packed and the atmosphere was electric. The PC Democratic Club is fired up for the election and particularly for their Election Watch Party that will take place in the Eagles Nest Ballroom on Nov. 5 beginning at 6 p.m. There will be refreshments, snacks, fun, and games! You are invited to join us.

Our December meeting will be back on the first Wednesday of the month, Dec. 4 at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Social hour begins at 6 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7 p.m. Our meetings are open and all are welcome.
