Linda Boyd was the only winner of an event that took place in January. The event was Dave Vader’s Sleeves. At the start of each of the Putters Club sessions, Teaching Pro Dave randomly picked out two hole numbers and if any player got a hole-in-one on either hole they received a free sleeve of golf balls. 109 players competed for the prize.
The February event was Be My Valentine, Sweetie. Anyone that shot a net score of less than 36 also received a valentine chocolate. March will be even more fun when you get a hole-in-one on the designated hole, you will receive a credit for two holes-in-one for the round.
Unit 61 has jumped into the Putters Club with great numbers of participation. Twenty-seven neighbors are now involved and enjoy fun and weekly competition.
