The weather was a little breezy when the 100 players started to putt – but after a while the players didn’t even notice the weather – they had to concentrate on the layout of each hole. There were laughter and cheers on the upper nine and the lower nine. I am sure that everyone loved the 19th hole. All the participants talked about what a great tournament this was and how much fun was had by all. There were a lot fewer holes-in-one with this layout. It was a test on many holes but what fun!
Jason, Cliff and Ken must have been up all night to arrange the layout.
Jason was overheard to say that he thinks this is the hardest layout he has ever contrived.
Catering also did a great job and the luncheon was very good! Patrice did an outstanding job decorating the tables. In all the event was excellent and all involved did an outstanding job.
One comment – about the two Little Senior Ladies that came in first in the second flight – some of us could only hope to putt as well as they do weekly. Way to go, Rose and Carmele.
