The PebbleCreek Putters Club was not discouraged when the Tuscany Falls Golf Operations were shut down the first week of July. Instead, it held its Fourth of July Patriot Tournament on July 12 when the facilities were again up and running. Although John Craven set up a tough 18 hole course covering both upper and lower putting greens at Tuscany Falls, the 66 participants canned 30 holes-in-one in a blistering display of putting prowess. After play was completed, all enjoyed a traditional July 4 hot dog grill out on Toscana’s Patio, prepared by Chef Robert and his staff. Nine members were awarded prizes for their Patriotic Dress (see picture in this article.) They were Carol Crawford, Sandy Wattawa, Jed Weisman, Charlene Jones, Geri Mantucca, Judy Dawson, Rose Latino, Diane Seeber and Lynn Cline.
PebbleCreek Putters has increased its membership year over year since its formation. If you play the game, it’s a great way to improve your putting skills. If you are new, or interested in golf, the Putters Club is a great way to enter into the sport. This year we continue our addition of special themed events in addition to regular weekly putting. The week of August 14 will bring out a Monsoon Madness tournament – complete with the Monsoon winds and blowing sand we are accustomed to this time of year.
PebbleCreek Putters has regular putting events scheduled on Monday and Wednesday mornings. If you are interested in joining, you can pick up membership information in the Tuscany Falls Pro Shop alcove or contact our Membership Chair Carol Hahn at [email protected].
