There’s an adage in the game of golf—Drive for show and putt for dough! Well, Stan Fuller is a supporter of this mantra—big time. The PebbleCreek Men’s 9ers Golf Association (PCM9GA) Golfing Niners have several prizes when they play their tournament outings each month at PebbleCreek. In addition to low scoring and closest to the pin shots, one of the holes awarded cash to the individual making the longest putt of the day on that layout.
Recently, Stan took money to the bank for three consecutive outings by having the longest putt on the designated hole of the day. While some might consider this as a stroke of luck, he clearly attributes this to his personal skill. Keep that hot putter, Stan. It sounds like it will be paying for your next vacation cruise!
