It’s that time again—to challenge your brain and test your knowledge of all things trivia! It’s time for Pub Quiz Nites at the Eagle’s Nest Restaurant on select Saturday evenings from now through the spring. The first Pub Nite is Saturday, December 13. A dinner buffet starts at 5:00 p.m. with Trivia Games to follow at 6:00 p.m. The buffet price is around $10 and entry into the Trivia Games is an additional $2 per person. Reservations are encouraged by phoning the restaurant at 935-6785; phones open December 3.
What can you expect? Here’s a sampling:
Name the soft white Greek cheese usually made from goat’s milk.
In the song, Heartbreak Hotel is located on which street?
What’s another name for a Wildebeest?
You can play alone or form a team of up to eight members. Bring your neighbors, bring your guests. Prizes are awarded each night (and we’ve got new ones this season!) and points are accumulated each week to recognize the top team at seasons end. Mark your calendar and plan to attend December 13 and 27, January 3 and 24, February 21 and 28 and March 14 and 21.
It’s an evening out where you don’t need to cook, where you can meet new people and where you can have fun. This event usually sells out each week, so make your reservation and join the fun!
Oh yes—the answers (in case you need them)—Feta, Lonely Street and Gnu.
