At approximately 25% of our goal, The Women’s Giving Circle (TWGC) of PebbleCreek is still seeking support with the collection of items for the Southwest Family Advocacy Center (SWFAC) Teen Backpack Project.

We hope you read the PebbleCreek Post article on the front page of the May issue about The Women’s Giving Circle of PebbleCreek’s Teen Backpack Project benefitting the SWFAC.

There are two ways to support this project:

* Email Barbara McMahon, project co-chair, at [email protected] for the link for the Amazon Wish List for this project.

* Write a check to Friends of SWFAC and deliver it to Barbara McMahon, 15756 W Amelia Dr, Goodyear, AZ 85395. A $25 donation will provide one teen backpack.

It takes bravery, determination, and motivation to change a life’s direction, and we know the Teen Backpack Project will be helpful for these victims. We are hoping for your consideration regarding this project.

Additionally, The Women’s Giving Circle is hosting a product drive to benefit Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank (AFFCB), which provides a variety of programs for those in need in the southwest valley. One of their programs provides showers and toiletries at no cost to those who don’t have their own shower facilities. To provide this service, they need toiletries. Some of the items needed include:

* Shampoo (travel size and full size)

* Conditioner (travel size and full size)

* Body Soap/Wash (travel size and full size)

* Toothpaste (travel size and full size)

* Deodorant (travel size and full size)

* Toothbrushes

* Razors

As you travel this summer, keep this organization in mind by collecting travel size toiletries including those provided by hotels. The Women’s Giving Circle will be collecting these items at our fall meeting on Sept. 22. More information will follow as the summer continues. Thank you for your generous support for our neighbors in need.
