Elvis Presley was born on Jan. 8, 1935. In celebration of this legend, get ready to have a great time at our January dance as a tribute to “The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll!” Did you know that Elvis Presley was inducted into five Halls of Fame: the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Gospel Hall of Fame, the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, and the National Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame. He is often referred to as “The King” of rock ‘n’ roll for the impact he had on the revolutionization and development of the genre.
6 p.m.: Cash bar opens
6 p.m.: Free dance lesson of the ‘East Coast Swing’ with Keith Clinton
7 to 10 p.m.: Dancing in the Tuscany Ballroom with DJ Hank
Attire: Country Club Casual or Elvis persona if you choose—no shorts or flip flops
