The Pottery/Sculpture Club is grateful to Cheryl Tiffany for sharing her talent and teaching skills this past summer. She taught a total of six extremely successful acrylic pour painting classes. Cheryl said, “As promised, we made a mess, unleashed our inner children, and discovered that we did indeed have the ability to create beautiful art with no hidden artistic abilities. And a few pour painting addicts were created in the process.” Additionally, thanks to Cheryl’s efforts, the club gained 17 new members!
In the coming months, expect to see more acrylic pour paintings for sale in the expressions Gallery as well as in the art shows and the 2019 PebbleCreek Artist’s Holiday Fest on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the creative arts center.
Signup sheets for all Pottery/Sculpture Club sponsored classes are located in the Expressions Gallery. And while you are there looking for a class to take, be sure to look for beautiful art for sale made by club members including clay and mixed media jewelry, pottery, sculptures, and, of course, acrylic pour paintings.
