The November Non-Objective Abstract Acrylic Painting class made up for its small size by creating masterpieces!
This class, intended for people of all levels of experience, including beginners who may only count painting a bedroom wall to their credit, produced some of the most beautiful and brilliant abstract paintings seen in PebbleCreek in a long time.
To the credit of the board members of the Pottery/Sculpture Club of PC, classes that don’t fit conveniently into other club’s schedules are routinely catered to. And so it is with the n-o abstract painting class. Offered four times a year in the pottery room, this class provides a history of non-objective abstract painting through discussions, books, visual examples and demonstrations. Each class is provided with options and accompanying lesson plans so that participants can proceed in a direction of their own choosing. Four or more paintings are generally created by each student.
Sign-up sheets for pottery club sponsored classes are in the Expressions Gallery in the Creative Arts Center now.
Non-Objective Abstract Acrylic Painting will be available for signups in January, with classes offered in February.
