Once again Thanksgiving in July was held on one of the hottest days of our July summer. These circumstances made us all very appreciative of the real Thanksgiving event later in the year. Fortunately this year’s T in J event beat last year’s haboob in July by one day. Most of the members of the PC Pool Sharks were in attendance with friends and neighbors.
The sumptuous buffet dinner was held at the Eagle’s Nest restaurant and, as in previous years, was well attended by PebbleCreekers and friends; a tribute to the efforts of Donnie Anderson’s restaurant staff and his great chefs and kitchen crew here in PC. A delicious variety of foods and desserts were available and served to our satisfaction and needs by Donnie’s very capable dining staff. A special thanks goes to the wait staff for doing an excellent job and being so attentive to our needs.
