The 469 PebbleCreek residents who braved the chilly winter mornings of January and February to participate in the Bocce Association’s winter season will wind up regular league play on Friday, March 13. Then on Wednesday, March 18 at 11:30 a.m. members of the 24 Wednesday League teams and the 24 Friday League teams will gather for an end of the season picnic at Sunrise Park in Eagle’s Nest where the top teams and season champs will be announced.

“We have enjoyed such successful fall and winter seasons at our beautiful new Bocce Complex and are really looking forward to having a great time at this year’s picnic,” Association President Cheryl Kasselmann commented, promising participants a day of fun, friendship and good food.

Earlier the same day, at 9:00 a.m. on March 18, Association officials and team captains and co-captains will meet in the Chianti Room at Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. Information for spring season, which will run from March 25 to May 15, will be distributed. All teams will play on the eight new state of the art courts at Eagle’s Nest where work continues on the installation of new benches, sidewalks and permanent UV protective canopies.

The deadline for mail-in registration for the spring season has passed, but PebbleCreek residents who want to participate in the Wednesday and Friday Leagues still have time to register in person on Monday, March 2 and Tuesday March 3 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse kiosk.
