Monty

Monty is a lucky dog

Hi, everyone. My name is Monty and I am one lucky dog. I was found roaming the streets of Phoenix all by myself, covered in ticks, very skinny and looking just awful. I was so scared at the kennel that they deemed me not suitable for adoption and scheduled me to be euthanized. A nice lady rescued me an hour before I was to be euthanized and took me home to her house in Buckeye where she runs an organization called HOME (Heaven on my Earth). She goes around to the different kennels every night and saves dogs like me.

She took me to her vet who gave me all my shots and pronounced me healthy and to be about three years old. She then took me to be groomed where I had a lovely bath and all my ticks were taken off me. Then my guardian angel put my picture up on her website hoping someone would see me and want to take me to my forever home.

My future mom and dad saw my picture on the internet and made arrangements to meet me. It was love at first sight. I have been here in PebbleCreek for about seven months now and just love it. My middle name is Zumba because my mom, Karen Parr, named me after her favorite class. I spend most afternoons at the wonderful dog park here and love chasing the tennis balls that my dad throws to me. I think I’m one of the fastest dogs here if I do say so myself. If you see me at the dog park please come up and say hello.
