My name is Leilani, or Lani for short. My mom (Diane Randecker) said she’s a “foster fail.” A friend of Sue Ann Olsavicky (cat rescue leader) found me at a bus stop in 110-degree heat and promptly took me to Sue Ann’s house. Sue Ann put out the call for help to foster. My mom volunteered to foster me while I went through my kitty wellness exam, received my vaccinations, and confirmed if I had ever been a mom.
I must have charmed mom, because she said she couldn’t give me up. I’m not sure what “foster fail” means, but I feel like I’ve won the lottery! I am able to watch bunnies and birds out my window all day long. I have a room full of toys with which I play. My mom gives me lots of kisses, which I wasn’t used to, but now I love them. I am forever grateful to Sue Ann’s friend for rescuing me that day.
