Hi! My name is Meena, and I am five years old. I was born in Colorado and just made it through my third summer here. Wow, was it hot this year! I had to wait until after sundown to take my walks, which weren’t as long as normal. I had to wear my cool vest! It did keep me from getting too hot. I pretended I didn’t like to put it on so that my human, Alaric Morgan, and I got to play a short game of “catch me if you can.” I always let her win. Now that it is getting cooler, I go on long morning walks and a short evening walk.
I do miss watching squirrels, but I love to watch the bunnies and quail in the common area behind my house. There are lots of them! It’s also very exciting to go for a golf cart ride and stop by the pond behind the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse to watch the fish. I live with my human in a house that she calls the “Taco Bell House.” In front of the house is my very own mini-me. Sometimes humans think it is actually me until they realize that it’s just a statue. LOL! If you walk on the path by my house, I may, or may not, greet you. But, right now, I have bunnies to watch. Okay, bye!
