Mollie is a PebbleCreek girl
Hi! My name is Mollie, aka Mollie Tamale since I sure enjoyed the one I counter surfed not long after Ed and Carolyn Dolezal adopted me. I am a ten-year-old Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix. I move like a Border Collie and have the velcro nature of a Golden. I love both my people, but I am a daddy’s girl. If Dad moves, I move. He really should just stay in one spot.
I am a PebbleCreek girl and was previously Pet of the Month in October 2016. At the time, I was being fostered by Gina Bonnett, who took great care of me, and comes over to visit me. Mucho kudos to Gina and to Jim and Marge Ellison who helped find me my new home.
As soon as Ed and Carolyn met me, they knew I had to be their girl. I filled a very big hole in their hearts after they lost Kali, their Alaskan Malamute. Luckily, they are used to lots of dog hair. I do my best to keep up the tradition and supply lots of butterscotch colored hair. My sweet, easygoing nature makes up for the rolling hair on the tile. Ed and Carolyn’s friends think I am the best dog ever, so I get lots of love and attention.
I love my twice-a-day walks, meeting other dogs, people, my hidey-hole under the coffee table, and chasing rabbits. Unfortunately, I can’t catch them as they are way too fast, and I am on a leash. It is still fun to try.
If you see me out and about, stop and say hello. You will be rewarded with a big smile and a wagging tail.
