Dolly and Gidget Hover
Hello! My name is Dolly, and Gidget is my adopted sister. We are transplants from Washington State. Our caregivers are Robert and Jan Hover and they tend to all of our needs. We came to Arizona in late October 2012 in a small kennel in the back of Jan’s SUV. It was a long trip but we were very good travelers (except that Gidget huddled on me the whole way and she weighs twice as much as I do).
I am 15 years old and am a long-haired diluted calico cat. My given name was Princess and I am treated just like one. Gidget is 11 years old and is a short-haired diluted tabby. Gidget should have been named Gabby because she talks to the caregivers all the time and always gets in the last word.
We were indoor cats in Washington, but get to go out back when our caregivers are out there and can watch us. I rarely go out (because I am a fraidy cat) but Gidget wants to go out every day and stroll around the pool and look for geckos under the shrubs. She has been known to bring a gecko in the house. Ugh—.
