Pedaling for Parkinson’s has come to PebbleCreek and AZ

The Pedaling for Parkinson’s group with their fearless leader and groundbreaker, Ann Merrill, along with her volunteers.

Bob Marchese, volunteer to Miss Ann

This is the very first authorized and licensed Parkinson’s pedaling class in the state.

Ten participants pedaled off in the inaugural class on April 1. The one-hour classes are held at the fitness center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1:00 p.m.

This structured pedaling program is approved, licensed and trade-marked. Ann completed the Pedaling For Parkinson’s ™, instructor course and is certified to lead a pedaling class.

To receive the full benefit of structured pedaling, classes will be offered in four-week increments. Peddlers must have a physician’s signed authorization form to participate. Forms are available in the Fitness Center office.

We also believe this is the very first Pedaling For Parkinson’s ™, program offered in a planned 55+ community within the United States! Quite an auspicious distinction for the Robson’s!

Come, experience and see first-hand the benefits of pedaling for Parkinson’s.

Peddlers wishing to participate should submit their signed form to Ann, and remember to bring their PebbleCreek ID card when attending. Classes cost the same as others offered at the fitness center.

Pedal on!
