PebbleCreek Woodcarvers Club members participated in the annual Meet the Artists Show in the Creative Arts Building on March 23 and 24. The Woodcarvers Club collected votes for People’s Choice Awards and the top three were:
*1st place: Joel Hawkins for his Peregrine Falcon and Rabbit
*2nd place: Gerald Findley for his American Kestrel
*3rd place: Chuck Schuldt for his Bald Eagle and Trout
The Woodcarvers Club thanks everyone that viewed the woodcarving display and we hope you enjoyed the wide variety of carvings that showed the club members’ talents. The 2017/2018 carving season has completed but the club is still active during the summer months. If you are in PebbleCreek during the summer it is a great time to join the club and start learning to carve. Formal classes are not scheduled during the summer but if you are a full time PebbleCreek resident contact Joel Hawkins via email at [email protected] or stop by the Quail Room and there will be someone there to get you started carving.
