The three chapters of Dining for Women in PebbleCreek met together for a potluck luncheon to share ideas at the home of Marianne Roberts. Dining for Women is a collective giving organization dedicated to helping women and girls in the developing world. The programs we support educate girls, teach women a skill, help develop markets for their products and fight the prevalent gender inequality in the world.

Over 400 Dining for Women chapters (each) get together for brunch, lunch or dinner with the purpose of getting to know others with similar interests and concerns, learning about new countries and working together as a group to support women and children via various grassroots organizations. DFW chapters meet on a regular basis and share a meal. Members learn about that month’s featured program through videos, educational documents and presentations. Whatever you may spend on lunch or dinner out, is what you might give for your average donation to DFW. The monthly featured programs are thoroughly researched and vetted. Dining for Women has raised more than $3.25 million between 2003 and 2014. Their collective giving model is proving that small contributions aggregated together can make a huge difference.

Once again, PebbleCreek women come together and make a difference by investing in the future!
