Culver Stone, President, PebbleCreek Wine Club
On Jan. 6, the PebbleCreek Wine Club donated $8,000 to Kare Bears.
The wine club has a membership of more than 400 PebbleCreek residents. Each month, the club collaborates with Robson Catering to provide an event featuring five premier wines that are highlighted during a reception and four-course dinner.
Every PebbleCreek Wine Club dinner includes a raffle of wines from the featured winery. The proceeds from those monthly raffles are accumulated and then combined with funds raised during the club’s December Gala for donation to Kare Bears.
Kare Bears continues to be the focus of donations from the Wine Club because of their essential services to the residents of PebbleCreek.
The current leadership of the PebbleCreek Wine Club includes Culver Stone, Jeri Lynne Jones, Betty Bailey, Wendy Bachmann, and Jack Engelmann. Auxiliaries to the club’s board are Alan Weitzman as webmaster and Pat Engelmann as reservation coordinator.
