The annual PebbleCreek Republican Club Veterans Day Dinner was another sold-out smash success. The celebratory event, honoring many PebbleCreek residents who have served their country in the military, was held November 5 in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.

The highest award presentation of the evening was the 2015 Honoree Award to the club’s Chaplain John Parsons who served in the Marines. Sheriff Joe Arpaio presented him with the American Eagle Award and President Linda Migliore an American flag flown over the capitol.
Following the Awards Ceremony America’s Sheriff Joe gave, as always, a very entertaining presentation, including excerpts from his colorful life. Starting with serving as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War through his Tent City successes and enforcement of immigration laws and problems encountered thereof, he is a spell-binder of a speaker.
The evening was one filled with the feeling of patriotism and pride in our veterans.
