More than 100 members and guests filled the Tuscany Ballroom Thursday, October 2 to enjoy the interesting and timely program.
Master Sergeant Mary Williams from Luke Air Force Base’s Operation Thunderbox thanked the club for their participation in the Luke Airman Fund, a combined community and military program which sends care packages to deployed members. She also introduced Breeann Frost who will be heading up the project in the future.
Border Patrol 101 was a dynamic presentation by Agents Joshua Black and Alex Gomez, who did a slide show of the various border security systems, followed by a lively Q&A session which could have continued for hours.
Tickets are on sale for the November 6 Veterans Dinner at Tuscany Falls Ballroom which will feature Sheriff Joe Arpaio as guest speaker.
