The weather was certainly cooperating. It was a beautiful Wednesday morning. Clouds were sparse and the temperature was warm but finally not hot. We all knew after last year of beating up Jason Whitehill, our head of golf, he was in trouble again. Well, Jason brought in help. He had the pros from both courses, Dave and Ronnie, to help him this year. Even with the extra help we could still smell victory in the air.
However, Jason and Ronnie rode to victory on the back of an awesome performance by David (34).
We had scores to beat Jason and Ronnie but Dave with his 34 was more than we could conquer. We have to concede victory to the pros this year. Next year we are going to plan some distractions for them.
Rene Lefebvre was our best with a net 34 tying David followed closely with 35s by Dede Harrington, Patty Greene and Lila Garner.
The important thing for the day was it was a lot of fun and I believe all had a good time.
After the scores were turned in we retired to the Chianti Room for awards prizes and an excellent lunch.
Everyone received a prize and the flight winners had awards added to their cards. All competitors received a certificate for discounts at the golf shop.
The candidates for the board were introduced at the end of the luncheon.
This was another excellent fun event for the Putters Club!

We also are looking for a treasurer. No one is running for treasurer at this time.
