Welcome to the Putters Club! This is what is being told to many of our PebbleCreek residents as we are rapidly growing in our second year. The members have found this club to be very social and low pressure to the pleasure of our membership. It is great to hear from your opponents, cheers and congratulations for a well-played shot. The camaraderie this club has garnered is second to none.
The weather is starting to warm and so are our Putters. We are enjoying more attendance and better scores. It is very nice to play in a light jacket or sweater instead of heavy coats and several layers of clothes. The scores seem to be affected by the warmer weather in a positive manner as well.
The play is now flighted. We are now competing with players of similar skill levels. The first place scores this past week were net 30 – 33 for the winners no matter which is their flight assignment. The board is doing a good job of making this a fun, competitive and entertaining activity.
Bettyann and the rest of the board have planned several events for this year.
March 30: Member/Member Tournament
May 4: Invitational (Sun City Grand and Sun City Festival)
November 16: Kick-Off and Voting for 2017 Officers
