It’s a hilarious and heartwarming comedy about the importance of friendship.

Just like the famous 1954 movie, White Christmas the Musical is the story of a pair of song-and-dance men who follow two sisters to Vermont where the sisters are performing their Christmas show at a country inn. It turns out that the inn is owned by the men’s former World War II commander, but the hotel is in financial trouble and now the four of them must try to save the General’s home.

It’s a feel-good story that will have the audience tapping their toes with all of its great singing and dancing. Don’t you want to be a part of this exciting production?

Dance Fusion is “Dancin’ in the Rain” under the direction of Karyn Horst, choreographer. See them March 31 through April 5 in ShowTime’s production of “Singin’ in the Rain.”

Singin’ in the Rain” Tickets Online March 1

Carrie Mataraza

We don’t yet know if ShowTime’s Singin’ in the Rain will bring April showers to our desert, but we do know that PebbleCreek audiences should get ready for a drenching of terrific comedy, music, and dance. ShowTime’s production debuts Monday, March 31 and continues its sixnight run through Saturday, April 5 in the Renaissance Theater.

The story of Hollywood’s radical transition from silent films to “talkies” was first a movie in 1952 and became so popular it was developed into a theatrical musical featuring lovable, comic characters, rousing music and joyful dance. Not that the staging didn’t have its challenges. How can you make it rain inside a theater; do you use real water?just one example. But somehow talent and creativity found the answers and earned the stage show a special place in entertainment history.

Come see for yourself as PC’s awesome cast and production team bring Singin’ in the Rain to life on the Renaissance stage. Tickets go on sale March 1. Buy yours at pebblecreekhoa.org. Tab Things to Do and then scroll down to Ticket sales. Click and go to ShowTime Tickets Singin’ in the Rain. There you’ll be able to select the date and the seat(s) you want. You can print out your tickets right there! Please don’t wait. These tickets will go quickly. If you’d like help, please contact JoAnn Smyth at 623466-8471. She is happy to guide people over the phone with their purchases.

We’ll see you at the show!
