PC Singers Gearing Up for Holiday Concert

Deck the halls! Ring the bells! With just six weeks of rehearsals under their belts, the PebbleCreek Singers are already in the holiday spirit! The choristers are excited about the upcoming holiday concert and all the great music they are preparing for their friends and neighbors. Sounds of the holiday season will be ringing from the Renaissance Theater when the Singers take to the stage to perform their annual holiday show, Ring Those Christmas Bells. Performance dates are Wednesday, Nov. 30 through Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at 7 p.m.
Music Director Jerry Drake will conduct the 70-voice chorus as they present a wide variety of numbers that celebrate this festive time of the year! The concert opens with a sparkling, lively rendition of Ring Those Christmas Bells. And that’s just the beginning! There will be some new songs of the season, new arrangements of some old favorites, a beautiful, new Hanukkah number, as well as classical songs, sacred selections, and novelty tunes. The program will also feature various soloists, small ensembles, and some live instrumental accompaniment on several numbers. We’ll also have … ? Well, we can’t tell you everything! You’ll just have to come and see for yourselves!
The Singers welcome four new members who will be singing with us for the first time. They are Kathleen Ripley Leo and Deb Stephen—1st sopranos, Margy Eroh—2nd soprano, and Kirk Brown—bass. Dan Croy, bass, is returning to the chorus.
Online ticket sales begin on Monday, Oct. 31 at 8 a.m. Be the first to get your reserved seat for the Singers’ holiday concert. Ordering online is simple. Go to pebblecreekhoa.org and “Things to Do” then “Tickets.” Scroll down to find the PebbleCreek Singers and click to buy tickets. Seats are $16.50 (handling fee included). Any remaining tickets will be available at the door.
