The Lady Niners continued their fall tradition of playing outside of PebbleCreek. Two away-days were scheduled in October. Oct. 1 was Verrado and Oct. 8 was Falcon Dunes.
On Oct. 1 Barbara Hockert scheduled and planned a fun day at Verrado. The ladies were given a choice of playing 9 holes or 18 holes. Those that played nine holes stayed for brunch. Those that played 18 holes stayed for lunch.
On Oct. 9, thirty-one PebbleCreek Lady Niners traveled to Luke Air Force Base and played golf at Falcon Dunes Golf Course. Patty Greene scheduled and planned this event. It was a just-for-fun day with no prizes or awards. The ladies enjoyed playing at a different course in the beautiful fall weather. Nine holes of golf were followed by a hamburger lunch. Three foursomes went back out after lunch to play another nine holes.
A new fun season for the Lady Niners is just starting. If you would like to join the PebbleCreek Lady Nine-Hole Golf Association, applications are available at the Eagle’s Nest pro shop or on the website PCL9GA.org.
