The PebbleCreek Men and Lady Niners enjoyed their annual Mixer on April 14. This year’s event was hosted by the PC Men’s Nine-Hole league and the guys did a great job in organizing the event and making sure the weather was perfect! Players were paired up with both men and ladies on each team.

Golfers had a chance to enjoy after golf, drinks and appetizers, followed by presentation of the winner prizes. Prizes were awarded for first through fourth place on the Falls, Palms and Lakes courses. First place honors went to the following teams: First Place Falls – Ken Knox, Suzanne Butler, Christi Houser, Jim Tackett; First Place Palms – Bill Schroeder, Betty Thompson, Pat Kaer, Rich Schmidt; First Place Lakes – Tricia Self, Kearin Kasper, Rick Senger.

Other Lady Niner winners on the Falls were 2nd Sue Smith and Janet Jeans; 3rd Diane Norgaard and Marlene Calder; 4th Cathy Dosch. Palms winners were: 2nd place Kathy Tobin and Roberta Ginter; 3rd Carol Meier and Sally Ward; 4th Susie Twedt and Patti Halbmaier. Lakes winners were: 2nd Pat West and Kay Little; 3rd Kathy Vienna and Donna Liddle; 4th Cherri Baxter and Sandi Wold.

2017 AWGA Medallion Tournament

With the conclusion of the four Medallion Qualifying rounds, the Lady Niners will have three two-person teams participating in next year’s AWGA Medallion Tournament. They are Char Morrow and Lorene Greer, Bonnie Bruce and Judy Myers and Barb Purpura and Cheryl Brodbeck. The Medallion Tournament will again be held at PebbleCreek next year.

Spring Par Tee

PCL9GA members and their guests donned red, white and blue attire in keeping with the Hooray for the USA themed Spring Par Tee on April 17. This was the last official event of the season and everything combined to make it a wonderful day. First place winners were Falls – Dan and Pam Grimwood and Marlene and Jim Calder; Palms – Judy Myers, Dee Reynolds, Vicki Wolfe and Alberta Hohn.

Other event winners were Falls: 2nd Jessica Gorman, Russ Georgesen, Liz Fergione and Nancy Donoghue; 3rd Barb and Kent Brace and Flora and Robert Conley; 4th Moe and Lew Richardson and Cathy and Lance Dosch. Winners on the Palms were: 2nd Cherri and Bill Baxter and Betty and Jim Thompson; 3rd Karin and Raleigh Andrews, Hattie Mulcahy and Shawn Mayer; 4th Tricia and Mike Self and Kathy and Vince Tobin. Winners of the skills contest included Alberta Hohn and Sue Smith for Closest to the Pin with Charlene Jones and Connie Peterson dropping the Longest Putts.
