Our new season began on November 13 with “Birdies & Baubles” Kick-off event. We started off with lunch, followed by golf then ended with dessert and awards. The co-chairs, Janice Goodwin and Sandi Harrell, did a great job planning and organizing this fun event.

“Holiday Cheer” was celebrated on December 11. The co-chairs for the event were Betty Thompson and Pam Morrison. The golf game was “Play it Again Santa” and that was followed by lite bites and beautiful Christmas music presented by Kathy Mitchell and Jeff Buda, generously sponsored by Donna Strand, Realty ONEGroup. Teddy Bears were collected to donate to Abrazo West Campus Hospital to be given to children receiving services.
Coming soon: “It’s a Wonderful Life” Charity Golf Tournament on January 15. This year we will be supporting the Homeless Youth Connection which offers counseling, host family housing and mentor programs so that homeless youth can thrive, graduate and succeed.
