The PebbleCreek Lady Niners’ annual Invitational Tournament, this year themed Bedazzled – A colorful Event, was held on February 9. The Invitational is one of the largest annual events and this year had a record 215 players including 84 guest players from other golf clubs in the area. A total of nine guest clubs were represented at this year’s event.
The Bedazzled theme was carried out through all aspects of the event, with plenty of colorful bling everywhere! Players were greeted by the PCL9GA event Greeter and Cart Management Committee members with their glitzy jewelry and boas! Each player even received a brightly colored and Bedazzled golf hat or visor as a special gift from the event.
Co-Chairs of the event, Kathy Sork and Sally Ward, did a spectacular job from planning to execution, to final prize awards and closing photos! Guest clubs are always quite impressed with the PCL9GA ladies events and our wonderful PebbleCreek facilities and staff.
The event closed with performance awards, presentation of raffle basket winners and special Bundtlet cakes for dessert.

Hole-In-One, Again!
Cheryl Brodbeck, member of the PebbleCreek Lady Niners, hit her second hole-in-one on the same hole as her first hole-in-one on December 8, 2015—-hole No. 12 at Eagle’s Nest Golf Course! Cheryl used her 6 Iron on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, during League Play. This time it was an extra special day as Cheryl’s first granddaughter was born and she actually saw the ball go in the hole this time!
Another Hole-In-One!
The Lady Niners are really hot this year when it comes to getting those coveted hole-in-ones! Bonnie Bruce became the newest member of the PCL9GA Hole-In-One Club when she made her first one on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, during League Play. Bonnie was on hole No. 12 at Eagle’s Nest and used her 5 Rescue to drop the ball in the hole. Quite a celebration that day after golf with not one, but two hole-in-ones. Way to go!
