PebbleCreek Italian/American Club’s Summer Pool Party

Ken Minichiello

Splish-splash was NOT the sound heard at the Italian/American Club’s Summer Kick-Off Pool Party. High winds and cool temperatures didn’t discourage 40 people from getting out to enjoy the day. Although the planned volleyball tournament had to be postponed, the afternoon didn’t go by without enjoying the camaraderie with fellow members over pizzas, their favorite beverages and homemade cookies; what better place than at the Oasis Pool!

About the postponed volleyball game: Ken Minichiello reassured everyone that the Club Championship Volleyball Games will not be denied and will be played at the next pool party planned for later this summer. In the meantime, members are encouraged to arrange to be there as a player or cheerleader in this upcoming event.

Many thanks to David and Shelly Carnevale and Jack and Shelley Coate for jumping in to help John SantaLucia plan and pull this event off without a hitch. Both couples offered to help John when he had an unfortunate accident and was unable to plan and host this event. However, John was able to show up for a few minutes to express his appreciation and gratitude for all the help he received to make this event happen.
