The Irish American Club of PebbleCreek proudly presented checks, totalling $16,000, to two nonprofit organizations from the proceeds of the successful 2024 Charity Golf Tournament. The first check was awarded to Dr. Crystal Krueger, founder of the Dawn Institute in Goodyear. The mission of the Dawn Institute is to support trauma prevention and healing through innovative mental health services that address the whole person, empower parents, and foster resilient families. The therapists at the institute collaborate closely with families facing relationship challenges, helping partners and children to understand their situations and providing healing guidance.

The club presented its second check to Stevel Vogel, President of ThriveAZ. This organization works closely with the Arizona Department of Children’s Services. It plays a vital role in providing families with resources to help them stay together, preventing the need for children to be removed from their homes and placed in foster care. In addition to its focus on foster care prevention and reunification, ThriveAZ is dedicated to supporting youth who have aged out of the foster care system. Their mission is to empower at-risk families and young adults transitioning out of foster care by connecting them with essential resources and support that would otherwise be inaccessible, enabling them to thrive.
