Steve Tom, Maryland State Trooper (SWAT Officer) conducted classes on Shotgun Defense, AR 15 Concepts, Concealed Carry Basics (CCW) and Flash Shooting on the Training Range at Joe Foss Shooting Complex.
PebbleCreek Gun Club Road Trip
The Gun Club went to the Tulsa Gun Show (4,200 tables in a building covering 11 acres) and then on to Texas hog hunting east of San Antonio, Texas, November 6 through 15, 2014.
PebbleCreek Gun Club – BBQ
A barbecue was held at Sunset Park in Eagle’s Nest on November 22, 2014, with an AR 15 raffle.
Muslims and Terrorism presentation by Bob Parks was held Monday, November 24, 2014, in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse Ballroom.
PebbleCreek Gun Club Meeting
The next meeting will be December 1, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chianti Room at Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. Marc Victor, local self defense attorney, will be the featured speaker.
Training Class – Urban Disaster Survival Training
Date: December 8, 2014
Location: Marauders Urban Assault Course
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Admission: $100 per participant
Maximum number of participants: 12
Program description: This program provides practice for individual and group survival strategies for operating in a non-permissive environment (government services and security no longer exist). Training topics/activities include: Evaluation of individual survival equipment/Go bag; Evaluation of mobile survival equipment (vehicle); Static security operations; Patrol operations; Mobile security operations (vehicle); Scenario based training: Pedestrian and vehicle check point; Neighborhood patrol; Building search; Convoy.
Scenario based training includes the use of non-lethal training equipment (airsoft) for force-on-role player and force-on-force missions. All training weapons and safety equipment are provided with admission.
Two seminars will be held Monday, December 15, 2014, at Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. Fee is $20 per person per seminar.
Introduction to Personal Security (9:00 a.m. to noon)
Topics: Learn about situational awareness, visual threat assessments, breaking contact techniques, defensive tools (lights pepper spray, stun guns, edged weapons and firearms), use of force continuum and justified use of deadly force.
Urban Disaster Survival (Zombie Survival 101) (1:00 to 4:00 p.m.)
Learn about individual survival equipment preparation (Go Bag), shelter in place planning, evacuation planning and individual/group survival strategies for operating in a non-permissive environment.
